Nathan T. Wright is an illustrator and artist based in Des Moines, Iowa, specializing in graphic recordingcommissionscomics and books. His work is inspired by sci-fi, emerging tech and mythology.

Nathan is the creator of of Fatberg, a lovable sewer blob who stars in a children's book, webcomic and magazine comic strip. He draws cartoons for Clay & Milk, a publication covering new companies and art in the Midwest.

Before taking the plunge as a full-time artist, Nathan worked in digital marketing with various stints at an advertising agency, his own consulting firm and a large retail company. He speaks about creativity and innovation for organizations, universities and conferences such as South by Southwest.

Nathan graduated from the Iowa State University College of Design in 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. He hopes to be distinguished enough to wear a monocle some day.
